Buy it. Use it. Sell it back.
The boxes we sell are the boxes we hire out, so when you have finished with yours we may well want it back for the fleet.
How it works
- Buy an eligible box from us. The product page says if it qualifies.
- When you no longer need it, email hello@thebikeboxcompany.com with your order reference and a few photos.
- We make you an offer based on the box's age and condition and what the fleet needs at the time. Accept it and we arrange collection, or you drop it at a hub, and we pay you.
Which boxes
The ones in the Bike Box Hire UK fleet, because that is where a returned box goes to work: currently the ShokBox Pro and the Bike Box Alan Easyfit. If the fleet changes, so does the list.
The honest bit
This is an offer each time, not a fixed price or a promise to buy. It depends on the condition of the box and on whether the fleet needs one just then. There is no obligation on either side, and nothing here affects your statutory rights or the maker's warranty. Serviced boxes bought back this way are what you see on our used boxes page and in the hire fleet.
